ABAV 2012
The Fair of the Americas – ABAV 2011, is an event held by the Brazilian Association of Travel Agencies (ABAV – acronym in Portuguese), witch annually brings exhibitors to the fair as airlines, hotels, tour operators, car rental, shipping companies, travel agencies, specialized media and others from all the world and also exposes destinations around the world.
Divided into 03 pavilions, the fair shows: Brazil – all Brazilian states; Americas – all countries of the Americas; and World – where all companies from Brazil and the world and several countries are represented.
This fair is a unique opportunity to meet the travel trade in the largest event of the sector in the Americas. An annual event, the Fair showcases the products, services and destinations of several exhibitors from all over the world to a highly qualified audience, looking for networking and business.
This year, the fair will be held on October 19th, 20th & 21st, in Rio de Janeiro, at Riocentro Exhibition & Convention Center (Salvador Allende Avenue, 6.555 – Barra da Tijuca) and as Skål’s slogan is “Doing Business Among Friends”, the Skål International Brazil will have a stand in Pavilion 4, Street “J”, stand nº 54.
For those seeking knowledge, upgrading and innovation, will happen simultaneously with the fair, from 12:30pm to 16:30pm, the 39th Brazilian Congress of Travel Agencies With the theme "Successful Brazil: Opportunities and New Attitudes for Tourism". The congress has highly qualified lecturers and more than 40 workshops with themes of technology, marketing, sales, service and market opportunities.
